Be our guest for a memorable fall harvest evening on September 19, 2026, at the original home of Feast on the Farm 17 years ago, nestled in the heart of Carnation, Washington.
Founded in 1996 by farmers Wendy Munroe and Andrew Stout, Griffin Creek Farm was the founding farm of the Full Circle farm box service. From the beginning, the farm has embraced organic and sustainable agriculture not simply as a business model, but as a way of life—guided by a deep commitment to caring for the land, its employees, surrounding wildlife habitat, and the broader food system.
Since 2004, our restoration team has worked alongside the Snoqualmie River at Griffin Creek Farm, planting native vegetation and restoring critical habitat for fish and wildlife. We are currently preparing for an October volunteer planting event where Feast on the Farm guests will have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves, get their boots muddy, and help bring this restoration project to life.

When this project is complete, nearly 8.5 acres of fish and wildlife habitat will have been restored along this stretch of the Snoqualmie River.

Perennial Vintners (PV) is a tiny family run estate winery on Bainbridge Island. Just across Puget Sound from Seattle, PV is the closest commercial vineyard to downtown Seattle restaurants, just 7 miles from the local restaurant scene. PV has been Salmon-Safe certified since 2011.
Being in a cool maritime climate, PV specializes in highly aromatic delicate wines with the bracing acidity that makes for ideal food wines. Newer releases include berry port-style dessert wines, and more familiar dry white and red table wines from warmer climate eastern Washington.
Winemaker Mike Lempriere first made wine as an amateur in 1997, then going on to achieve a WSU certificate in Viticulture. PV opened as a commercial winery in 2006. With vineyards planted in 2004, and lease agreements with nearby vineyards, Perennial also has “old vine” products, with some of WA States older vines, planted in the early 1980’s. (Doesn’t sound like much, but for WA state, 30 years is old!). PV is extremely proud of its estate wines made with Puget Sound AVA fruit, consistently emphasizing Seattle area local product matches in food pairings.
Celebrating Earth Month (April) has come and gone and we wanted to reflect on all our accomplishments. Our volunteers are truly the ones who make our Snoqualmie Stewardship program such a success. We could not restore so much habitat without your help! This past April we worked with 430 volunteers. That is more than all of 2025 in total and we’re only halfway through the year! Volunteers helped us plant nearly 2,000 native trees and shrubs, restoring and maintaining 2.4 acres of riparian habitat on Snoqualmie Valley farms! Our newest Adopt-a-Buffer sponsor, the DLR Group, stood out by planting the most native trees/shrubs by a single group AGAIN. This year they planted nearly 600 plants at Wallace Acres! Thank you DLR Group and all of our amazing volunteers!

The evening will feature an abundance of locally grown produce from the farm and regional food with cocktails, wine, and beer from local producers, tours of the Salmon-Safe farm operation, and a live auction and raffle with goodies you won’t want to miss.
The event promotes awareness of local farms that provide healthy food and actively participate in environmental stewardship. Proceeds will fund Stewardship Partners’ restoration projects in the Snoqualmie Valley. Spring has sprung at Salmon-Safe certified Carnation Farms and so have two new rain gardens! Over the past couple of months the Snoqualmie Stewardship Team has been planning, designing and installing two new rain gardens on the farm. They worked closely with Eric Popp, Carnation Farms Director of Regenerative Agriculture, to plan the location of the rain gardens. Eric even provided excavator training for the crew. These rain gardens will filter over 50,000 gallons of water a year and act as great demonstration gardens and talking points about stormwater management and the extra mile Carnation Farms is going to operate sustainably!
As a sustainable, Salmon-Safe certified farm our commitment to ensuring water quality runs deep. Because we recycle millions of gallons of water from our facilities each season, managing runoff is a daily concern for our agricultural operations. Rain gardens help us ensure we think about runoff holistically, beyond just what we use in our fields and facilities. Filtering water from our gutter systems through rain gardens ensures that we are mitigating our water quality impact on the greater environment surrounding the farm, ensuring the long term health of our ecosystem.
