Today we continue to restore and maintain the riparian habitat along the Snoqualmie River at historic Carnation Farms in the scenic Snoqualmie Valley. Volunteers will help us plant native trees and shrubs and maintain previous plantings. These efforts will enhance salmon habitat and restore the riverbank. Lunch, light refreshments (coffee, water and snacks), tools, gloves and an overview of the work, why it’s important and how to do it are provided. We’ll educate volunteers about the property and Stewardship Partners restoration efforts in the Snoqualmie Valley and our Adopt-a-Buffer program.
