Changing Seasons Farm is a small family farm growing a wide variety of vegetables using ecologically sustainable methods. Their produce is Certified Naturally Grown, and the farm is Salmon-Safe certified. The farm provides produce to people in the Seattle – Eastside area through on-farm purchase. They also offer Consumer Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes that are available for pick up at the farm and in Issaquah, Washington.
Today volunteers will join in our month long celebration of Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary by helping us restore and maintain riparian habitat at Changing Seasons Farm along the Snoqualmie in the scenic Snoqualmie Valley. We’ll perform restoration site maintenance on past planting areas by clearing the area of invasive plants. We may also plant native trees and shrubs today. The project site may be located on relatively rough terrain and there is a fair amount of walking involved.
