Join Stewardship Partners and Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center for a day of fish and wildlife habitat restoration! Today we’ll maintain our Alder Grove buffer by removing invasive plants such as Himalayan blackberry and planting some native trees & shrubs. Light refreshments (coffee, water, and snacks), tools, gloves, and an overview of the work we are doing are provided. We’ll also educate volunteers about Oxbow and Stewardship Partners. Bring a snack if you would like, as well as a full water bottle and a coffee cup or travel mug for refreshments. After the event volunteers are encouraged to join Oxbow in celebrating their Oxtober Pumpkin Festival. There will be live music, food trucks, hay rides, a farm stand, and, of course, pumpkins! Fun for the whole family! More info at: www.oxbow.org/oxtober/ Dogs are not allowed on the farm.
